Creamy Yoghurt Guacamole

This creamy avocado and yoghurt guacamole is a fresh twist on the classic dip. Ripe avocados are blended with thick, natural yoghurt to add tang, creaminess and a natural protein boost, then finished with zesty lime, juicy tomato and finely chopped purple onion.

Light yet satisfying, it works just as well as a dip, spread or sauce. Serve it with crackers or veggie sticks, spoon it alongside grilled meats, or spread it generously on toast or wraps. Simple ingredients, balanced flavours, and an easy way to add extra protein to everyday snacking.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • ½ cup Re natural yoghurt

  • Juice of 1 lime (zest optional)

  • 1 small tomato, deseeded and finely diced

  • ¼ small purple onion, very finely diced

  • 1 small garlic clove, grated or crushed (optional)

  • Salt to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • Handful of coriander or parsley, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Avocado
    Scoop the avocados into a bowl and mash until mostly smooth, leaving a little texture.
  2. Add the Creaminess
    Fold through the yoghurt until creamy and well combined.
  3. Freshen it Up
    Stir in lime juice, diced tomato and finely chopped purple onion.
  4. Season
    Add salt and cracked black pepper (and garlic or herbs if using). Taste and adjust lime or salt as needed.
  5. Serve
    Serve immediately as a dip, spread or sauce, or cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
